West Virginia Women Work! offers workshops periodically to help individuals get started in their job search. These two-hour workshops will help participants answer the following questions:
- I need a job now, why bother getting training?
- What kind of careers would I be good at and how do I prepare for them?
- What are the training opportunities in North-Central West Virginia? (duration ranging from 10 weeks to 2 years)
- How can I afford to go back to school?
- How do I find a match between my aptitudes/talents and the training programs out there?
- How do I overcome barriers to get into training?
- What is an entry level position and do I already qualify?
- What are non-traditional careers?
- What are union apprentiseships?
